Rockworks llc, won 2 awards in the 2013 Detroit Home Design Awards.  One in Landscape Water Feature and one in Exterior Use of Stone, Tile, Concrete.

On March 14, Detroit's design community gathered to honor winners of 2013's Detroit Home Design Awards, sponsored by Detroit Home magazine. Photographs by Christine M.J. Hathaway. 

In the Exterior use of Stone, Tile, Concrete Category, Rockworks. LLC won with the following Design:

This design blends the detailed water feature with the more massive reclaimed quarry block, the more conventional split veneer columns, and the cut rectangular paving stones. All of the design elements mesh nicely with the clean lines of the home. Softened with many planting pockets, the space provides a tranquil respite. The Brea sandstone, quarried in Ohio, has been used for buildings, bridges, and even sidewalks since the early 1800s, and holds up to the elements in freeze/thaw climates.
