For the best results waterfalls and the stonework should be contained within the pool gunite or or shotcrete™ shell.
The pump and plumbing system for pool waterfalls should be separate to the actual pool pumps infiltration. Variable frequency drives and remote controls can be used to control water fall flow rates. Natural gravity stone retaining wall and natural stone steps can be used around pools that have substantial grade changes.
